Canadian Lead Deckhand Luke Sedgwick was raised in Oro, Ontario, on a horse farm. 

After graduating from university in Ottawa with a degree in history, he moved to British Columbia. Luke worked as a landscaper in the summer and spent winters working for a heli-skiing lodge. He then spent a year working in northern Canada’s oil and gas industry. Luke then made his way to Europe and joined the yachting industry. In his free time, Luke enjoys running, skiing, camping, diving, playing rugby and riding motorcycles.
